AMT DER KÄRNTNER LANDESREGIERUNG
from 22nd November 2021
Distance rule: 2 meters
In relation to people who do not live in the same household, if the risk of infection cannot be minimized by other suitable technical or organizational protective measures and the company allows this, a distance of at least two meters must be maintained.
Upon entering and while inside the building, visitors must wear an FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve or a mask of an equivalent safety standard (minimum requirement). Visitors may bring their own mask or, if they fail to do so, will be handed a mask at the entrance to the buildings. Pay attention to the notice boards with contact numbers on the official buildings.
Visitors who are not wearing a mask will be made aware of the FFP2 mask requirement and, if they refuse to comply, will be asked to leave the property.
FFP 2 masks are not mandatory for pregnant women or for person who are unable to wear them for health reasons. These groups may wear a tightly fitting surgical mask that covers both their nose and mouth. Where this is also not possible for health reasons, the requirement to wear a mask no longer applies. Children up to the age of six are exempt from having to wear a mask; children up to the age of 14 may wear a surgical mask instead of an FFP2 mask.
In multi-person offices, an FFP2 mask must be worn if the risk of infection cannot be minimized by suitable technical or organizational protective measures, such as dividing or plexiglass walls in particular. In addition, an FFP2 mask must be worn when leaving the workplace and when someone is present who does not have a workplace in this office.
For employees oft the provincial government, the FFP2 mask requirement does not apply when dealing with the public (the mandatory "3G certificate" applies). - applies after the transition period until November 14, 2021
