AMT DER KÄRNTNER LANDESREGIERUNG
Visitors must wear FFP2 masks (from 15 September 2021)
Upon entering and while inside the building, visitors must wear an FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve or a mask of an equivalent safety standard (minimum requirement). Visitors may bring their own mask or, if they fail to do so, will be handed a mask at the entrance to the buildings.
Visitors who are not wearing a mask will be made aware of the FFP2 mask requirement and, if they refuse to comply, will be asked to leave the property.
FFP 2 masks are not mandatory for pregnant women or for person who are unable to wear them for health reasons. These groups may wear a tightly fitting surgical mask that covers both their nose and mouth. Where this is also not possible for health reasons, the requirement to wear a mask no longer applies. Children up to the age of six are exempt from having to wear a mask; children up to the age of 14 may wear a surgical mask instead of an FFP2 mask.
When dealing with the public, employees of the provincial government must wear an FFP2 mask without an exhalation valve or a mask of an equivalent safety standard (minimum requirement), unless a Perspex shield or other technical protection device is provided.
“3G rule” throughout the State services
From 1 October 2021, the so-called “3G” rule applies throughout all State services.
External visitors (i.e. persons other than those working for the State services) who enter official premises outside regular opening hours (in particular persons attending meetings, events etc.), need to either prove their “3G” status (vaccinated, tested, or recovered), or wear an FFP 2 mask throughout their stay on the premises.
